Villisca Axe Murders

Hey guys

As many of you know the mystery that surrounds the axe murders of Villisca Iowa on June 10, 1912 where 8 people including 6 children were murdered while they slept. Having finally been able to spend the night at the house I wanted to share my thoughts on this unusual and horrid case. First, these people weren't just killed, they were disfigured....after dealing the killing blows, the killer or killers came back and hit each person 20 to 30 times more crushing in their skulls and even scopping their brains from the skulls on many. Now, the accepted story is that a man hid in the attic and after the family went to sleep, murdered the family. When the bodies were found the next morning all the windows were closed, cloth were hanged over the windows and mirrors in the house. Here is where I have a problem. In 1912 with no AC, there is no way that the windows in that house were c losed on a warm june night. That house is super hot with two window ac units going now. The floors are wood and squeaky and the stairs are 3 part in a narrow stairwell. With a neighbor right next door about 20 feet away, there is no way the killer was able to come out, move across the floors, close every window in the house since some would have been in the area where the beds were, cover them, cover all the mirrors in every room without someone waking up. I believe there was either multiple killers in the house, and they woke the family and kept them under control until they could get the windows closed and covered and then committ the murders or if it was a single person, he perhaps got one of the children up, used them as a tool to keep the other members of the family under control untill he could get them where he wanted....perhaps he tied and gagged them then killed them one by one in their beds then untied them before leaving. However it unfolded, I feel there was absolutely no way they could have been killed in their sleep given the layout of the house, the era, and the conditions from which the bodies were found. As from a paranormal standpoint, the house is truly haunted. We encounted direct and indrect activity on many fronts including physical object manipulation and full bodies manifestations. I'm really looking forward to getting through evidence review.

Eclipse Movie.....Not the Twilight One

A DVD released Tuesday called Eclipse...Its suppose to be a story of a man who is haunted by the ghost of his dead wife or at least thats kinda what the movie is suppose to be about. As a veteran ghost hunter let me tell you that this movie is terrible. Its definately a B movie type shoot, the whole time there is two and three key piano music playing even during talking scenes, you see like 3 ghost looking things the whole movie, none of it makes sense, there is no plot, no plot solution, and the ending just stops after an hour and a half just when you think that maybe this was what you endured the first hour and a half for. I for one vote this paranormal movie a paraflop.

Well as you may or may not know, filming was delayed for Spirit Dairies and the project has been rescheduled for July 25. Also, we will be filming the other pilots as well so it looks as if all but one of the planned projects will be in play at the same time. I will be posting updated info on locations in the next week or so. I look forward to meeting people when we get out on the road filming.

Follow up to unscheduled investigation

Hello all

Sorry for the delay in blogging but its been a really busy week for me. A week or so back I blogged about an unscheduled investigation I was called out on at the Soilders Water Hole over near Brady Texas. I had went out there after a phone call from some people who were checking it out and said there was some crazy stuff going on. I have been there many times in the past and know the activity they described as actual things me and my team have experienced out there as well so I took off thinking it was an active night for the location. Upon arriving, the place had a charged feel to it which is always good in a paranormal investigation. Shortly afterward, I heard what sounded like a screaming sound from the far side of the old bridge. I recognized the sound from previous trips to the location. I was doing an rtsc session near the old fort rock formation and was asking for a verification of a spiritual prescense when something hit the pipes on the old bridge. It sounded like someone taking a metal pipe and hitting another metal pipe, it was very loud and very distinct. Also, the moon that night was huge and bright orange in color till right after midnight when it went back to its normal size and color which I want to add is when all the activity stopped and the air lost that charged feeling so thats something to note for other investigators to pay attention to. We started talking about where the people who were killed there were burried and we started seeing distinct shadow people all around the fort foundation. If we approached, they would dart off and vanish into the darkness. The last thing we experienced was drum sounds....the kind that you would hear from indian tribes....they were way off in the distance but clearly drums. A few minutes after midnight the moon went bright and the activity ceased. Some notes to take away from this is that it was a full moon, orange in color till midnight, then bright. Very clear night, no clouds that I could see, the air had a charged feeling up untill the activity stopped, and the wind was surprisingly calm that evening.

TPR will be scheduling another full investigation there in the near future, most like on the next full moon cycle.
